Innate Gesture | Brooch

I have a strong affinity with the Canadian winter scape. I am especially attracted to the fragility of delicate leafless branches and snow-covered fields. Their persistent transformation inspires me to interpret the beauty of endurance and resilience as quiet gestures embracing their environment in harmony. The inherent physical characteristics of fine metal wire allow me to explore various delicate structures interplaying between positive and negative spaces while creating volume, textures, space, colour, light and shadow in jewellery.
